So I finally figured out why my snake plant wasn't growing—I was watering it way too much

So I finally figured out why my snake plant wasn't growing—I was watering it way too much! I read that they prefer to dry out between waterings, so I switched to only watering it maybe once a month and it's already looking happier. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm still pretty new to plants and I'm amazed how little attention this thing actually needs now that I've got the watering right.
