Notes on my Swiss Cheese Plant

I've had my Monstera deliciosa for about eight months now, and I'm finally starting to see those iconic fenestrations appear on the new leaves! I was worried for the first few months that I was doing something wrong since the older growth looked so plain. Turns out it just needed patience and consistent bright, indirect light. Has anyone else found that their Swiss cheese plant took a while to show those signature holes, or did yours start fenestrating right away?
