Notes on my Swiss Cheese Plant

I've had my Monstera deliciosa for three years now, and I'm still amazed by how much slower it grows in my tropical humidity compared to what the literature suggests. Mine finally developed fenestration on the newest leaf, which felt like a small victory! I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed their M. deliciosa taking longer to produce split leaves than expected, or if mine is just being stubborn about reaching its full potential?
