Notes on my Fiddle Leaf Fig

My fiddle leaf fig has been sitting in the same spot for three years and honestly doing fine, which goes against everything I read online about them being temperamental. I think people overthink it—mine gets bright indirect light, I water when the soil actually dries out, and I leave it alone. The only real issue I had was moving it too much in the first year. Has anyone else found theirs surprisingly low-maintenance once it settles in, or am I just lucky?
