Notes on my Fiddle Leaf Fig

My fiddle leaf fig finally stopped dropping leaves after I moved it away from the heating vent and started watering only when the top inch of soil was actually dry. I was overwatering like crazy thinking that's what it wanted. Turns out in my arid climate it needs way less than I assumed. It's been putting out new growth for two months straight now, which honestly feels like a win given how close I came to tossing it.
