My ZZ plant has been sitting in the same corner for months and honestly I wasn't sure it was even alive—those shiny leaves barely changed. Then I moved it closer to a window and suddenly it started pushing out new growth. I have no idea if that's what actually did it or if it was just ready, but now I'm wondering if I've been underwatering the rest of my collection by keeping them in darker spots. Has anyone else noticed their ZZ perk up with more light, or am I overthinking this?
