My ZZ plant has been bulletproof for two years now, barely watered and totally neglected in a corner. I keep waiting for it to suffer, but nope—it's my most forgiving plant by far. The only thing I've learned is that I was actually killing it with kindness before. Once I stopped fussing and let the soil dry out completely between waterings, it took off.
