My Monstera finally fenestrated after almost a year, and I have to say it was worth the wait. I kept it in bright indirect light near an east-facing window and tried not to fuss with it too much—I think that's what made the difference. The new leaves coming in are already showing those gorgeous splits. If you're waiting for yours to develop fenestrations, just be patient and make sure it's getting enough light. It really does come down to those two things.
