I've had my snake plant for about two years now and I'm still amazed at how little it asks of me

I've had my snake plant for about two years now and I'm still amazed at how little it asks of me. I water it maybe once a month, sometimes less, and it just keeps growing those beautiful striped leaves. My question is whether I should repot it soon—it's looking a bit root-bound when I peeked at the drainage hole last week. Has anyone else found a good time of year to do this, or does it really not matter much with such an easygoing plant?
