I've had my Ficus lyrata for about eight months now and it's still pretty leggy despite being near my brightest window

I've had my Ficus lyrata for about eight months now and it's still pretty leggy despite being near my brightest window. I keep reading that they need "bright, indirect light," but I'm wondering if anyone else in a cold climate struggles to give them enough without scorching the leaves? Mine gets maybe four hours of decent winter sun. Should I just accept it won't bush out, or am I missing something obvious?
