I finally figured out why my ZZ plant looked so sad for months—I was watering it way too often. Moved it to a bright corner and cut back to once every three weeks, and the new fronds came in glossy and full. It's honestly my most forgiving plant now, even in our dry Mediterranean summer. If you've got one struggling, neglect might actually be the answer.
