Been neglecting my ZZ plant for weeks and it honestly doesn't care. I think that's the whole appeal—it thrives on neglect in my dry climate. The one thing I learned the hard way though: it hates sitting in water. I killed my first one by overwatering, thinking all houseplants needed regular moisture. Now I let the soil dry out almost completely between waterings and it's unstoppable. If you're new to plants and live somewhere arid like me, just get a ZZ. It's basically impossible to mess up once you accept that less is more.
